RIMSBL Seeks New Home for the League's Hall of Fame

RIMSBL Hall of Fame Committee Chairman Jim Cooney, on behalf of the League and the Hall of Fame Committee, announces that a new location
for the league's Hall of Fame and assorted memorabilia is actively being sought. Any league member or interested party willing to provide
accessible space for the HOF, including at least one lighted display case, is urged to contact Jim at 401-826-3600x22 during the day,

ABOUT RIMSBL

The Rhode Island Men's Senior Baseball  League (RIMSBL) is made up of people 25 years old and older playing baseball. RIMSBL has been in existence since 1989 and is affiliated nationally with the Men's Senior Baseball  League (MSBL). Currently,  RIMSBL has 10 teams in the 25+ Division,  9 teams in the 35+ Division and 5 teams in the 45+ Division and 4 teams in the 50+ Division. RIMSBL has an 18 game regular season and playoffs for those teams that qualify. All games are 9 innings, unless shortened by weather, wooden bats only are permitted ,  and we strictly follow MLB rules,  unless one of our own rules apply.  We use the following fields: Gagne (Swansea,  MA), Pierce Field, McCarthy Field, Rhode Island College,  Cranston Stadium,  Old Mountain Field  and Sprague Field.
